OPRL Reflects on a Fantastic London Packaging Week 2025
We had a fantastic couple of days at London Packaging Week 2025, catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones. The event was a brilliant opportunity to connect with packaging professionals, brands, and sustainability leaders — and to have meaningful conversations about the future of packaging recyclability.
A Packed Schedule and Inspiring Conversations
Events like London Packaging Week are invaluable for us at OPRL. They allow us to engage with both members and non-members, sharing insights on how our tools, labelling system, and expertise can support businesses in navigating the evolving packaging landscape. Our stand was buzzing with activity as visitors explored how OPRL helps organisations “go beyond the label” to simplify pEPR compliance, improve recyclability, and build consumer trust through clear, consistent communication.
“Designing for Recycling and Labelling” — A Talk That Made an Impact
A real highlight of London Packaging Week 2025 was our presentation by Jude Allan and Alice Harlock on “Designing for Recycling and Labelling.” The session delved into how aligning packaging design, pEPR compliance, and labelling requirements can be challenging but essential.
With the increasing complexity of pEPR and RAM (Recycling Assessment Methodology), understanding recyclability can seem daunting. Jude and Alice explored how labelling plays a pivotal role in making pEPR a success, offering practical guidance to help brands navigate this changing regulatory landscape with confidence.
Celebrating Our Lucky Dip Winners
Our stand at London Packaging Week 2025 was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement thanks to our Lucky Dip giveaway. Visitors had the chance to win:
