Marketing and Sales Executive

We’re looking for an engaging, driven and communicative Marketing and Sales Executive to join our team in Banbury. This is a full time, permanent position, with hybrid working available, as well as very competitive company benefits. As Marketing and Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing a programme of activity to engage with prospective clients. This will be through the management and processing of inbound leads including follow ups via email/calls, reviewing and optimising the on-boarding process to maximise registrations, and developing targeted marketing campaigns.

The role is primarily marketing lead, however there is a strong sales element too. As a small team, we’re looking for someone with both marketing and sales experience to undertake more typical marketing activity, including the creation of any sales support materials and supporting wider campaigns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing inbound leads and follows up via HubSpot CRM
  • Managing and developing the programme of 121 targeted sales campaigns including development of any support materials
  • Learning, developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key audiences
  • Managing / developing client engagement – optimising and implementing continuous improvements
  • Delivery of a sales support materials pack which can be used across different channels e.g. presentations, demos, content etc and identifying opportunities for improvements
  • Collating and providing updates on sales performance
  • Development and management of CMS database for prospects
  • Working with the internal team, to develop and manage the programme of client activities including communications, content and check in calls

You must be/have:

  • Experience of working in sales and marketing (ideally B2B) – Essential
  • Experience in 121 sales targeting campaigns from creation of material and delivery of activity – Essential
  • Experience of managing leads and contacts via a CRM (ideally HubSpot) – Essential
  • Excellent communication skills and organisation, and ability to work independently – Essential
  • Ability to understand and scrutinise data for insights and how to leverage data for improved performance – Highly desirable

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication – good communicator both written and oral
  • Planning and organising – working across different activities often with competing deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Essential
  • Creativity – ability to generate new ideas and ways of working
  • Responsibility – comfortable working without frequent direction
  • Teamwork – ability to work within a team structure

What's in it for you?

  • A salary of £32,000 – £35,000
  • Flexible hybrid working – min 3 days in the office each week
