Meet the management team
Jude Allan
Interim Managing Director
Jude Chairs the IOM3 Packaging Group. IOM3 is a leading science and engineering professional body promoting all aspects of the materials cycle. Jude was also a packaging technologist before spending 18 years leading production and creative operations at Jones Knowles Ritchie.
Margaret Bates
Managing Director - Seconded to DEFRA
Margaret joined OPRL in February 2020 from the University of Northampton. Margaret has spent over 30 years in the waste and resources sector and has travelled the world trying to improve standards of resource management globally.
Ian Bush
Financial Planning Director
Ian joined OPRL in March 2022 to help drive new business opportunities. Ian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and has spent the last 20 years launching, growing and selling several new businesses.
Linda Fell
PA & Board Secretary
Linda has been working for OPRL since February 2019 as Board Secretary, and PA to the Chair and Managing Director. Linda previously worked at WRAP for 14 years as PA to Phillip Ward, and former CEO Liz Goodwin.
Meet the member services team
Alice Harlock
Director of Technical and Member Services
Alice has worked for OPRL since 2014 and leads on membership support. Alice started her career at HDRA as part of the Sustainable Waste Team. She moved to WRAP in 2005 to continue work on consumer communications through the Home Composting Programme, Recycle Now and Recycle for London campaigns.
Adam Sayward
Member Engagement Manager
Adam joined OPRL in November 2023 as the Member Engagement Manager with a focus on our Major Brands and Retailers. Adam’s role is to support our members and ensure they are fully utilising their membership. Adam’s background is in Project and Event Management within the Charitable and Public sectors.
Emily Gardiner
Packaging & Recycling Manager
Emily has been providing support to OPRL members since 2017. She officially joined the OPRL team in September 2019, having previously worked at WRAP for over 12 years. Emily now manages the compliance audits, provides technical advice to the Member Support Team and assists with account management requirements.
Meet the marketing & sales team
Fiona Clougherty
Head of Marketing & Sales
Fiona joined OPRL in October 2019 as Marketing and Sales Manager with over 20 years marketing experience across Financial Services, Telecoms and Not-for-Profit organisations. Her role is to lead the Marketing and Sales function at OPRL promoting and recruiting new members to the scheme.
Jenni Wirtz
Marketing Executive
Jenni joined OPRL in November 2022 to help communicate key messages to prospects as well as supporting with member communications. She is a strong marketing professional with more than 10 years’ experience working in marketing and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Culture and Media Studies.
Lynsey Jamieson
Marketing Executive
Lynsey joined OPRL in May 2024 to support the delivery of existing customer/member marketing campaigns. As a fully qualified marketer with over 10 years of experience, Lynsey ensures that OPRL members fully maximise their membership benefits, showcases their value to our audiences, and ultimately helps improve overall membership retention.
Meet the projects team
Rebecca Wormleighton
Head of Projects and Innovations
Rebecca joined OPRL in March 2023 to support the delivery of existing projects and to identity and delivery new initiatives. She is a Prince2 qualified project manager with experience in complex project delivery and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Molly Beck
Project & Member Support Executive
Molly joined OPRL in September 2021, originally as part of the Governments Kickstart Scheme. Molly has since joined the team on a permanent basis as our Project Executive and supports the Member Services teams, as well as being our Audit Admin.
Helen Young
Office Manager
Helen joined OPRL in March 2024 as Office Manager. After attending Oxford Media and Business School, Helen gained her office management skills in the legal, architectural and training sectors.
